Design History: Technology
More than two years of development, collaboration, engineering and design have been required to create these different mobile stations for the medical sector. Doctors, nurses, surgeons contributed to it. Our goal with the manufacturers of the various components of our stations has been to minimize the mechanical complexities while maximizing the ease of movement and adjustability movement in height. Respect for the environment in the design of our products is also one of our concerns, we reflect this in the longevity and recycling of materials used in our products.
Design protocol
Our commitment to the durability of incorporating materials naturally includes minimizing the environmental impact of each of our components. We therefore minimize the impact on the environment of each part of our designs.
Exceeds standardization compliance to fully evaluate new product designs in three key areas:
* Material Chemistry and Security of Contributions -
What chemicals are in the material we specify and are they the safest?
* The dismantling -
Can we take products apart at the end of their economic life, recycle their equipment?
* Recycling -
Does the material contain content that is already recycled and, more importantly, can the material be recycled at the end of the economic life of the product?
The material content of the components is mainly made of anodized aluminum, stainless steel for accessories and wood, we minimize the plastic intake in our designs, the bacteria favoring this material to proliferate and reproduce.
Medical computer trolleys are up to 95 percent recyclable at the end of its economic life.
The H-Class Carts and all height-adjustable powered carts are 95 percent recyclable. This means that the complete product is 95 percent recyclable.
Our company encourages other manufacturers to recycle their product using as little plastic as possible.
The materials
* Steel components contain approximately 25% recycled content and are 100% recyclable.
* Aluminum components can be recycled completely.
* The plastic components are identified with a recycling code ASTM because in most cases these components are not recyclable and therefore we also avoid it for hygienic reasons and disinfections.
